The only one who was there for him was Laurel, she truly saw how much he was hurting, and the reason I think she did that it’s cause he reminded her of Susannah, yes we always saw a happy sunshine Susanmah but what if she also had this sad side and that part of her reflects on Conrad’s and that’s why Laurel was so keen on making sure he was okey cause she saw it in his face
