Weevil eggs are in your flour. They can’t survive if you put your flour in the freezer for a few days. Also, anything in your pantry that is grain forward, you need to check out. You may need to trash all of it, bug bomb your cabinets and start over!

Flour almost always has a few weevil eggs in it. When you bring flour home from the store, put it in the freezer for a day or two and then you can store it in an airtight container in your pantry. There's no need to keep it in the freezer more than a day or so.

I started putting dry ingredients in my fridge or freezer. My kids were constantly leaving them partially open in the pantry.

Weevils are going to get into dry goods like that. Maybe they were already there when you bought it. Sealed container or fridge.

it's a rice weevil you can also get those in rice idrk how. But you should put it under the sun (put the flour in an bowl that's not that steep) make sure it's like hot outside when you wanna put it. the holes are made by the rice weevil

Weevils. That jar isn’t “sealed” enough. I keep mine in an airtight bucket in my pantry and then the container on my counter is another airtight one. You can sift them out and bake the flour at a low temp for a period of time to get rid of them.

put the flour in the freezer for at least 24hrs. The cold apparently kills the lave.
