Never work for a doctor who has family members as employees. That means he can’t keep non-related employees

PA here – get out of that practice as fast as you can. It will not get better. That is not acceptable at all. Also document document document.

Definitely report him to the board. Interesting how he’s got no problem, taking her money and money from the insurance company.

Pharm tech here. If that happens again, tell them to ask the pharmacist. You can almost always talk to one directly and they have more knowledge of side effects than doctors do

That’s a hostile work environment, at the very least. Report him- along with the whole practice- and then get an attorney.💜
This is exactly why people don’t trust drs anymore.

You should’ve told her to speak to a pharmacist and tell her to get a new doctor cuz that’s wild.

Not a lawyer and this is not legal advice, BUT you are almost certainly a mandated reporter (almost everyone who holds any type of healthcare licensure is), meaning that if you suspect that provider is neglecting that patient, you are required to report his conduct to the appropriate entity in your jurisdiction. Don’t get yourself in legal trouble and risk your future RN license by protecting him if you do suspect negligence.
