The victim's friends fled in search of assistance; one of them contacted 999 and informed other members of the public. The victim was promptly located by the police, who promptly arrived at the scene to provide her with the necessary support and care. An intricate investigation was initiated by detectives, which included forensics, extensive CCTV surveillance, and numerous witness enquiries.
