My dad use to say," you can tell how a man takes care of his wife and family by how he takes care of his sombrero."

👍 My respect to you sir! When I was a waiter at the local restaurant a rancher left his hat behind after eating dinner. I ran after him and told him that he had left his hat. He asked me well why didn’t you bring it outside with you? I told him my grandfather taught me to never touch another man’s hat. He smiled and gave me an extra $20 on top of my tip!

My Grandpa taught me the same way. I tell this younger fellas all the time. The way a man wears and treats his hat tells you all you need to know about him.

I was taught to take the hat off when you enter the house or you are disrespecting the home owner. Also take your hat off when talking to ladies or elders even when outside.

💯your Dad taught you well, senor.. My papa was the same way. Although he never wore a Sombrero.. But his father and his Great-grandfather did. Another important thing. My papa said don't come to the table wearing a wife beater shirt or t-shirt. He would run your butt off. with a good cussin.cussing.. 😹😹.
