Wow first off this officer is not doing enough to keep himself safe. The father is running the show at this point. Clearly he could have a gun behind that door and it would be so easy for him to shoot and kill the officer. These are the most dangerous situations for the cops. Please retrain your officers on how to handle this kind of a situation. The cop got lucky this time, perhaps he won't be as lucky if this happens again. Please, please train all officers to know how and when to react to domestic assault complaints. It blows up so quickly when emotions are at a ten. Train and practice over and over.again so everyone knows what and how to handle this volatile situation!!!! No second chances gentlemen, get it right the first time.

Officer should enter the home and detain the father for everones safety until the matter is figured out.The father is being aloud to run the show. Behind the door could be the next murder weapon. Ive been to these calls and right off the bat my hair is sticking up..
