I used provoke when the main tank was about to die and then they yelled at me to not do that so I didn't next time and they died and yelled at me for not provoking

I remember a tank kept provoking every time they died to take back aggro after i had it, the whole raid healers started yelling at him to stop and let me main tank, i didnt wanna main tank i wanted the other tank to do it but they said it was their first time and were nervous 😂 he was upset but idk how he wanted the healers to magically keep him alive if he refused to move off aoe and other stuff.

While I like main tanking as soon as aggro is ripped from me I just let them have it. If they want to be the main character so badly I’ll be fine lol

Had this so many times happening in ARR alli raids especially WoD. At one point I just turned off tank stance. Then the other two went for a walk with cerberus around the arena

If someone is so obsessed with being the main character that they need to have the boss. On them 24/7. Then by all means. they can take all the tank busters. even the one that is meant for all the tanks to stack on top of 1 another. No, that's all on you. Mister main character.🤣

literally the only time i have ACT on anymore is when i am doing alliance raids so i can get a giggle at the tank's power struggles

I had someone who constantly kept provoking but me as a WAR or a PLD, I just constantly out dps the other tank and naturally took back aggro most of the time. The only time I ever provoked the boss back was when they faced the boss unfavorably for the rest of the party lol

Admittedly- I do like to play games with the ego maniacs (who HAVE to be the “big bad tank”) who have to Voke- if it was already on me, I’ll take it right back on principle.🤣 You want it? Okay, earn it with your rotation, otherwise leave it alone. 🤣🤷🏽♀️and please gods be standing where you are supposed to.

It’s the worst too bec I don’t wanna provoke and make the party run around it bec the tank who’s doing this does not know how to place the boss so I just sit there like ok fine have mt I usually catch up doing the correct rotation anyway lolllll
