The wooden teahouses glow softly, and the streets feel so calm. And then there’s Gannenji Temple - a place with a quiet, mysterious atmosphere that lingers with you long after you leave. We timed our visit to coincide with the Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival-it was 2 days of awesome food, culture, even an exotic car show. Coupled with Dr. Suzuki’s museum to Zen, its numerous parks, old town-its way better than crowded Kyoto imo
