I have to apologize to saas vendors every so often because non technical executives will ask chatgpt to write something that will do some thing using the vendor's API, it didn't work, and they opened a support ticket with the vendor asking why some ridiculous slop didn't do the thing they wanted. like stuff hitting API endpoints that don't exist, or just create jsons referencing variables from Salesforce that don't exist in the vendor's system

Just had this today from a client. We proposed an AI tool to help ingest transcripts from discovery calls into a proposal… today he sent over some idea of super copilot who could serve as a CFO because Microsoft just announced Claud options… I asked him to send me his prompt from his weird fever dream idea that he didn’t even hide came from AI
