@_getfitwithmer: READ THIS CAPTION 👇🏼 The scale doesn’t always tell the whole story when you are lifting weights. Your body can be burning fat and building muscle at the same time, and the number might not show it right away. That is why the 90/10 and 80/20 splits work so well. When you stay consistent and really pour into them you will see huge changes over time. The most important part is making sure you are eating the right amount for your body. If you are not eating enough your progress will stall and you will hit a plateau. This is why knowing your TDEE is so helpful. And if you do not want to figure it out yourself this is where I step in. I take the guesswork out of it and build the plan for you so all you have to do is follow along. Sleep is also a big part of the process. Try your best to get 7 to 8 hours each night. If you are a mom and that is not possible you can still support your body in other ways to help balance cortisol and recovery. Some of my best results came in the months I stuck closer to 90/10. My scale weight barely moved but my body scans showed that I lost 4 percent body fat and even gained muscle. I see the same thing happen all the time with my clients too. Trust the process, keep going, and do not let the scale be the only way you measure your success. #caloriedeficit #naturalweightloss #nutrition #nutritiontips #caloriedeficitdiet
