@heyitsbriblossom: When my husband was sick, this line of work gave us the freedom and flexibility we never thought possible. It let him quit his job and focus on actually using those rare days where he felt “good” to LIVE, not just survive. We used that time to do the bucket list things we always dreamed about. We made memories instead of struggling paycheck to paycheck. And I’ll always have so much gratitude in my heart for being able to live those last months/years together the way we wanted to. This is why I’ll never be ashamed of what I do. Because it gave us time, and time is priceless.
