@thechefoutwest: Watermelon Jello 🍉🍉 If you’re not quite ready for cozy season then you need to try this recipe, it brings all the summer vibes and it is SO FUN! Not only is this recipe crazy easy, but LOOK how cool it is. Having sliceable watermelon jello pieces is helping me hang on to these last days of summer. You gotta give it a try, recipe is below! Now tag a friend that you would crush this with. Ingredients • 1 seedless watermelon • 6 packets unflavored gelatin (6 Tbsp) • Juice of 1 lemon or lime (optional) Method 1. Cut watermelon in half and scoop out flesh. Blend and strain to get 6 cups juice. If you have more juice and are using a bigger watermelon, the key here is using 1tbsp gelatin per cup of juice. Any less and the jello may not setup firmly. 2. Sprinkle gelatin over 1/2 cup of water, let sit 5 min. 3. Bring that water to a simmer in a small pot and whisk until all the gelatin is dissolved. 4. Stir in lemon or lime juice now, you can always add some sweetener here if you’d like. Then pour this mixture into the watermelon juice. 5. Pour back into watermelon halves.
