I had two sisters, but I was the only one to have children and we didn’t live near each other for our entire adult lives. What y’all have is very special. I’m sure you both know that. ♥️

And just since we are doing learning purposes content.. I let my daughter play with my keys one day and somehow got the back off and mine uses button batteries so be careful with that as well.

Good reminder that moms are not perfect and most do all they can to protect their babies. Never hold on to guilt because time is fleeting and it’s a waste to spend it focusing on mistakes.

My son is in his 30’s and this happened to him. He woke me up crying in the middle of the night I went in there he was in the floor thankfully he was ok. I still remember how awful I felt.

When that baby learns to roll over or is very close to rolling over, it’s time to take them out of the bassinet. It’s time to take them out of anything that is up high ! lower everything as low as you can get it because babies are full of surprises.

My son did the same thing he was 8 months. His 2 older brother 9and 7 watched him do it. It was 11 o’clock at night. I put that crib all the way down immediately.

I stepped away from the changing table- to turn around and grab a towel off of the crib- and my son decided in that moment he would learn to roll back to belly and he rolled right off. He was perfectly fine, thankfully babies are so resilient! So hard to not feel guilty though!

after having a child i don’t like mini cribs / bassinets and wish i would have started with the crib from the begging.
