@keralayne: This morning was rough and I felt as though I was failing them at times.. Then I looked back and saw her with hands raised, eyes closed, singing with a faith so pure that tears filled my eyes immediately..because truthfully? Some days I lose my patience. Some days I’m angry, overstimulated, and filled with guilt for not being the mom I want to be. Watching her..seeing this.. She doesn’t hold that against me. She just loves Jesus and she loves me. In this moment, it was as though God was telling me what I needed to hear. “You’re a good mom. Not because you never fall short, but because you care enough to keep trying. Because you point her back to Me, even when you feel like you’ve failed.” Mamas, it’s not about being perfect. It’s about showing up, leaning on His grace, and trusting Him to fill in the gaps.
