You can use foam tubing to insulate the flexible pipes as well.

might be a silly question, but why not just insulted the pipes? I mean this will help the rest of the house be warmer too but lag the pipes themselves if freezing is a risk? isnt hard or expensive and is quick

Put some wire mesh on the insulation on the floor to prevent mice and rats from living in it and getting into your house ❤

You only need to insulate heated spaces or surfaces that are heated . Insulating the walls will not help because under the house is an unconditioned space.

We use little baseboards under our cabins to keep the plumbing from freezing up and it’s great!

What I did in similar case was digging 1m(3.5ft) deep trench around the house, put insulation boards in and along the house walls up to the roof
