Being from Arizona, born and raised, and Apache, let me tell you. There’s nothing there. But hey feel free to go try the lost Dutchman goldmine. Most don’t come back. Also, rattlesnakes. 😏 Wish people would stop making bs content about AZ and the Grand Canyon.

Nature isn’t scary—people are. Their need to explain the unknown is what creates all these wild stories. I’ve been hunting and hiking the Superstition Mountains since I was twelve, and none of this is anything more than creative imagination, tall tales, or bored people trying to spice up their lives. Some folks just aren’t meant for the outdoors, smh. The Superstitions are tough, beautiful, and absolutely real on their own—no myths required.

I just hiked/explored the Superstition Mountains last night with my friends. It’s only my second time going into the interior of the mountain, and I only go at night. I haven’t really come across anything, but last night we were gonna explore massacre Trail but it was flooded due to all the storming that has been going on in Arizona PHX area so we ended up at Dutchmans Trail and eventually we hit a point where the trail split into two One side looked flat and easy and the other was rocky and rough so of course we went with the rough one. We kept hiking and eventually made it to the top of this hill mountain thing and when we shined our lights we saw an old mine and it looked creepy but cool then that’s when things started to get a little weird, the crickets or bugs started to chirp really loud and fast then out of nowhere it stopped and then that’s when we decided to turn back and call it a night and while hiking down the mountain/hill I started to get this weird heavy feeling but that’s it. We plan on going back. We started around 7:30pm and got back to car around 11:30. 9-27-2025
