For any US people, golden syrup is NOT corn syrup! You can get it on Amazon & it's a very different product from anything we have in the grocery store. The closest thing is light amber maple syrup but the flavor is different of course. Caster sugar is finer than granulated. You can run granulated through a food processor for the same thing.

One of the things I miss the most from Scotland, the toffee. We lived in Fife for 3yrs. I can’t remember the name of the one you can buy in the stores like down on Main Street, but we usually had some of that around. Sticky toffee pudding is my fav.
