@breakfreewithchatgpt: I was diagnosed with pneumonia and mononucleosis reactivation days before my divorce trial, but Judge Rampersad refused to continue the trial to a later date. They ended up holding trial with only my abuser and his attorney present: no evidence, witnesses, or sworn testimony from my side. And though I proved the domestic violence years ago and though the court found that my ex used a firearm in the commission of a felony against me, HE was granted SOLE custody of 3 kids he’s been legally barred from seeing in person for 3 years — and nearly ALL of what he presented was fraudulent/lies. I filed an appeal and submitted proof of the fraud/lies to the trial court, but instead of ruling on it last Friday, she’s making me wait until Oct 10, which is when my ex is seeking my IMMEDIATE ARREST. This judge already signed fraudulent orders that state I was AT TRIAL (when the Minutes and transcripts prove I was not), so I’m not feeling too hopeful that she’s going to take my ex’s fraud seriously (as she played a role in it).
