sweet, spicy & cheesy 🧀 never been to chili’s but i would definitely put this in my triple dipper 😋 gochujang honey cheese sticks!!  ingredients:
8 oz block of mozzarella, cut into 4 sticks
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs + splash of water
1 cup regular bread crumbs
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
vegetable oil, for frying for the glaze:
2 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp gochujang
3 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp salt directions:
cut the block of mozzarella into 4 thick sticks and set aside. prepare a dredging station with three bowls: flour in the first, whisked eggs with a splash of water in the second, and bread crumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in the third. coat each mozzarella stick in flour, then dip into the egg wash, coat again in flour, and dip back into the egg wash. roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly so it sticks. for extra crunch, repeat the egg wash and breadcrumb step once more. place the coated mozzarella sticks on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until firm. this step keeps the cheese from melting out too quickly when frying. heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the mozzarella sticks until golden brown and crispy on all sides. transfer to paper towels to drain. to make the glaze, melt butter in a small pan. add minced garlic, gochujang, honey, and salt. cook until combined, then toss the hot mozzarella sticks in the sauce until coated.  serve immediately!  #mozzarellacheese #cheesesticks #mozzarellasticks #friedcheese #cheesepull
