I just burnt my thumb with boiling water because I grabbed a pan to drain boiling noodles and it dropped the pan and the water went on my thumb and I have a bad burn.

lol, it's not a new concept. my grand mother had them in the 60's 70's and 80's. and it was antique then( hers was iron ). Don't know the real name. The adults called it a pot holder. Us kids in the 80's called it Godzilla. 😂.

Do not buy these. They are a danger risk. I took a hot pan out of the oven with one of these and the silicone pad fell out and my hot pan went crashing to the floor!
