the coldplay couple situation was actually sickening, I felt like I was used to random out of context videos of people doing something surprising/funny/weird going viral but the fact that they got doxxed to hell and back over the maybe-cheating (not like we knew pre-doxxing) was absolutely insane, the desire to punish some private citizens over a potential moral failure (not even a crime) was so vicious

back in the day i'd always try to remind myself "it's ok, no-one is looking at you, they're all too concerned with themselves" but now every time i see a video of an unsuspecting person being filmed for some stranger's tiktok my brain is like "OH ok no maybe they are looking at me" and it is such an uncomfortable feeling!!!
