fish are easy cuz ppl would just neglect and unintentionally abuse them till they die and they could just buy another. More awareness on aquatic animal care should be given at these stores

that is such a bad idea - fish are one of the hardest animals to keep because thry require space and cleaning the tank 💀 generally the smaller the animal, the more it has to be taken care of so first pet shouldn't be a fish or hamster but a dog or a cat - it can also protect it's boundaries against small kid and cannot be killed that easily

Fish aren’t all that easy, but thank you for trying to learn. Those goldfish need a much larger tank but thd beta should be fine in there. Please get a water testing kit and learn about the nitrogen cycle. Tanks need to be fully cycled before you add fish as the ammonia can burn/kill them

That's wayyyyyyy too many goldfish for such a small tank. Did you know that 1 goldfish needs a 180L tank to flourish. Please, take back the goldfish and put some smaller fish or shrimp in there... Do some homework on fish keeping.

fish are the hardest pets to take propper care for and especially for kids. that's a mistake so many people do and why so many fish suffer and die soon after they get taken home :(

Fish are a lot of work (especially bettas) but rewarding. It takes time for the water to be ok for them. That’s great you persevered. I loved keeping fish but a cat is definitely easier. 😂
