Fin moves there expecting complete peace and isolation, but his plans quickly change when he meets Joe (Bobby Cannavale), an outgoing food-truck vendor who won’t stop trying to befriend him, and Olivia (Patricia Clarkson), a grieving artist struggling with the loss of her young son and the breakdown of her marriage. Their friendship develops slowly and awkwardly, without either of them really knowing what to do with it. There are no big speeches or dramatic transformations just three lonely people gradually becoming important to one another.
