Those recommendations are like that because they don’t test the car beating on it. They assume it’s just a regular daily driver which if it was those intervals would be completely fine. Gotta realize that’s a 2k service every service if you decide to change it early that’s a personal decision but it cost 2x more. I’ll never say the dealer recs are bad because it’s dependent on the driver

You should change oil every 3000 miles on that car— or else. 5000 is way to long. 2500 miles would be better and change transmission fluid and filter after 20,000 miles. Performance needs more maintenance

you have an s tronic transmission . smart to change fluid and filter . your 100% don't go 10k miles for oil change . I don't go past 3500 on my jaguar .
