We’ve been attacked for not wanting bottom surgery for so long that the community did a complete flip and now the majority just doesn’t want it. If we’re being honest the hate stems from the fact we constantly had to defend ourselves from the effects of Kalvin telling everyone if you didn’t want bottom surgery you couldn’t be a man. The community is STILL healing from that and until it does that animosity will remain. It’s what happens when the oppressed become the oppressors. Give it a few more years and no one will care the same thing happened a few years back with the top surgery debate and now everyone is chill.

I think it could also be that a lot of people have an aversion to surgery especially surgery involving genitalia? I’m not 100% sure but that could be a factor
