my friend had their wedding on my birthday. couldn't blame them, its a good date. I never brought it up because I get my birthday every year and their wedding is once. not even that close friends but they left me a present on my seat at dinner and drew balloons on my placecard

When my SIL got married, her brother’s GF turned 21 the day after the wedding. At midnight, during the wedding reception, the GF’s mum and dad turned up with loads of balloons, a cake and some flowers for fhe birthday girl and had the DJ stop the music so they could sing happy birthday. They hadn’t cleared this with SIL beforehand and she was absolutely furious 🤣🤣

We got married on our best man’s birthday. The day after my brothers birthday and the day before my friends birthday. Guess what no one cared. The DJ said happy birthday to all of them and we all moved on.
