Artistic “micro aggressions” that show even an underlying disdain for artists and artistic endeavours. For example: when people say that your art is too expensive/priced incorrectly. Or when they ask what your “real” job is. Etc etc.

tbf its also hard to tolerate the commodification of creativity 😅 It def feels like theres this either or sometimes between people diminishing creative pursuits or gatekeeping being a creative behind commercial success of the art 😭
