I look back with AWE for what my mom did as an Air Force spouse. We moved every 1.5-2 years until high school (im 29 now). I look back with gratefulness and know so much of it was bc of my mom. Hoping you can find a way through the anxiety- I can only imagine how hard it is

Yes. And it’s even more anxiety when your kids are school age and you have to move in the middle of the school year.

I feel this so much! Military wife of 13 years and mom to 4 as well, tho not a set of triplets! We are in worst PCS situation we have ever been in thanks to EFMP.. We were supposed to move this past summer but didn’t get orders before our DEROS expired.. and that has been a nightmare.. and of course it’s an international move that will mean no car or HHG for 3 months and a deployment on the other side! Should finally be moving mid November, in time to have nothing for the holidays!!! Also don’t regret it, but this one is so much harder than any PCSs before!

I think you are amazing, I don’t know how you do it with handling everything taking care of your children and I’ll let you do. It’s amazing. I don’t know how you don’t have a breakdown with too much on your shoulders. Well, you are amazing mom amazing wife, and I give you so much credit.

how did you guys decide on having multiple kiddos? our son is only 2 and we haven’t encountered those struggles but the future definitely makes me so anxious as a military spouse.

It feels so much more complicated once your kids reach elementary school. We found out we’ll likely move next year. I okay with moving but I’m dreading the logistics.

Add to that the fact that orders change. 🤬 I never felt it was a done deal till he was signed in at the new base. How long has he been in? The retirement benefits are definitely worth it, just the health insurance alone.

I was a military brat and then spouse. I look back at all those moves and people who were part of my life and I am so grateful. I'm 64 and I have found myself with so much knowledge that I surprise myself. We moved every 3 years with the Marines. Thank you to you and your husband for your service 🇺🇲🇺🇲

I met my husband at the tail end of his career and I’ve only had to do one duty station (Italy) and it’s been so hard (and amazing) for many reasons especially having 2 small children. Luckily he retires next year. But it’s been so eye opening to me that so many love this way. I need stability! So much respect to all the milispouses 🫡

I believe this is the 2nd home I have seen you in since I began following you. The babies were not even crawling yet. I adore your backyard so much & watched all the meals you've cooked on the Blackstone out there. Going to miss it! That said, I'm here for the next journey. I applaud you Meg 👏🏼👏🏼It’s a very difficult but rewarding life . I was a military wife for decades !!! Moved all over the place . Always loved meeting new friends but was so sad to leave so many . All of our moves made me a better person as well . A lot of people don’t understand what it all entails.
