@leannacoy: I went to Kyoto and back IN A DAY🚄 and you can too! My trip only covered Tokyo, and I wasn’t planning on doing any day trips. But, when I found out Kyoto was only 2hrs away via the bullet train, the wheels in my head started turning🧐 Was it worth it? Absolutely! You could definitely spend more time here than I did, but I had a group dinner to get back to that I didn’t want to miss🫶🏻 THINGS TO KNOW: • tickets are pretty pricy (~$200USD) • you are not guaranteed a seat AT ALL if you don’t book a reserved one- you might have to stand the entire time! • you’ll use a QR code on your phone to get through the gates to the bullet train.
