i’m taking a lobbying class (which was a bad choice but in my defense i thought maybe it would teach me how to better interact with politicians and organize) and we’re constantly told that “quid pro quo” is illegal, but i’m like how different is that from “suggestions” from rich lobbying firms 😭😭😭
