![Your AI Stack for business Is Already Outdated The AI stack you started with is not the AI stack you need to keep. A lot of people still use one general AI tool for everything. Writing. Research. Coding. Design. Planning. Automation. It works, but specialized AI workflows are getting much better. The bigger shift is moving from “ask AI a question” to giving AI a job. For deep thinking and analysis, use a model built for longer reasoning and context. For development, use an AI coding environment that understands the codebase and works across files. For design, give AI your brand rules, examples, constraints, and desired outcome instead of generating isolated assets. For recurring work, turn the process into an AI workflow instead of repeating the same instructions every week. You do not need to replace every tool you use. Start with the work where you spend the most time, then test whether AI gives you a better workflow. Prompt 1: “Act as an AI workflow consultant. Interview me about the tools I use, the work I repeat every week, the tasks that take the most time, and the places where work gets stuck. Then identify the five best opportunities to replace, augment, or automate parts of my current workflow with AI. Rank them by time saved, difficulty to implement, and expected business value. Do not recommend a new tool unless there is a clear reason my current workflow is insufficient.” Prompt 2: “I want to redesign this workflow around AI: [DESCRIBE WORKFLOW]. First, map the current process step by step. Identify where human judgment matters, where AI should handle the work, where automation makes sense, and where I still need a human checkpoint. Then design a simpler AI-first version of the workflow and give me the exact prompts, instructions, and handoffs required to run it.” The goal is not collecting more AI tools. The goal is figuring out which parts of your work should still require you. Save this and run the first prompt against your current AI stack.
