The 405 is a nightmare no matter what time of day you get on it or what day out of the week it is just prepare by packing a lunch and patience cause you need them both

Not quite that bad. Made it from Studio City to Manhattan Beach in under a half hour on a Sunday morning. We have frequently made reasonable time on it.
