We just celebrated my grandfather’s 99th birthday 💕born September 21, 1926 and I showed him your page he loved it!! It took him back to his youth ❤️🥰 and yes my grandfather is still very aware and blessed to be in good health 🥰👏🏼

Loewenstein and sons retired in 1907, so you’re jacket had to have been made sometime before then. Their business started In Charleston North Carolina in the late 1800s and then branched off to Chicago.I couldn’t find anything saying what year they opened their store In Chicago though 🤷♀️Very interesting! It looks great on you!

L Lowenstein and sons was a textile manufacturing company in the late 19th century. So someone bought the fabric and made the suit jacket themselves.
