All of speaking on the other person not getting up right away are seeing a short glimpse into the start of someone’s grief journey. She was literally just told that her mom passed. She most likely wouldn’t have made any sense when or if she could talk. Telling my brother that my dad passed sounded like a babbling mess. I couldn’t stop crying.

Thank you all so much for the outpouring of love and support. My husband was in shock and genuinely didn’t know what his next move should be: comfort me when he knows I might have pushed him away in that moment, or sit there and try to remain calm for my son, his step son, who was sitting right there at the table just out of frame so that he didn’t get scared and more worried than he already was. HIs response wasn’t perfect and that has since been addressed but he handled it in the best way he could figure in that moment and shortly after this clip he was there on the floor with me rubbing my back. Again thank you to everyone for all their love and support, you are all so kind 🥺❤
