Can we get a woman’s perspective! I divorced because my ex was a doctor who was never home and he became increasingly verbally, financially, and emotionally abusive. It wasn’t the kids. It was him. He wanted a mom for a wife without giving me thr support I needed. 🙄

I think there can be a healthy balance. As a mother my intuition has always been to ensure my kids needs are always met. My husband understands that and sees my value through that.
