I understand your perspective that a 200 amp that's normal current draw is only 30amps under normal usage would have 170amps available but that's not exactly how it works. to go back to our water analogy. pressure being voltage, and volume being amperage, if you had a reservoir of water at 170 gallons of water above a 30 gallon tank with the same water pressure, while under normal operations nothing flickers but once you open up a large branch that needs more water than the reservoir can re-supply with the supplied pressure you'll see a momentarily drip in the smaller branches.

I appreciate you. your humility. ib find that good lamps and led+ switches stop must flicker. or it's the stuff you checked. many times multiple rooms because people just bit cheap led lamps and don't upgrade switches all around house. I will check in one room if that works.

I had the same problem let me tell you my fix I upgrade to a 200 from a 100 had same issue I called utility what utility did was connected old #6 arial I proved it needs to be higher gauge arial coming in and it fixed

Yea I didn’t know how to respond in comments lol never did that kinda thing before, but yes I have yet to find an answer to inrush current, it is interesting tho, but I’ve heard before it can be if ur panel is far from the transformer you’ll have more of an issue with inrush than a home that is first in line
