@avery.wiersema: So proud I could cry… Rock and I just laid down our last run of the 2025 National Finals, and not only was it our FASTEST run all week… but we broke our PR in this arena that we set in 2023. 😭💓 When it comes to running a senior horse, it’s a really big deal when they continue to get faster with each run. I was so worried Rock was feeling his age by the end of this week (he’s 22 years old!) but then he goes out and makes a run like this that leaves me speechless. I got off him, gave him tons of scratches, thanked him, and thanked God. Now we get to settled him back into his stall for the night, and tomorrow we have rolled our time to the Short Go Finals.
