We just want to clear something up. Our goal in relicing the guitar was never about pretending we’ve played it for decades or to show off. We weren’t trying to claim “credibility” or flex skills. What we wanted was the look and character that a relic style gives. Para sa amin, it’s more on the vibe and aesthetic like how some people customize their shoes, clothes, or cars. We respect those who believe that a guitar’s wear should only come from years of playing that’s valid. Pero in our case, it’s simply a creative choice. Hindi siya tungkol sa clout or pagiging “magaling,” it’s about giving the instrument a unique identity that matches our style. At the end of the day, music isn’t about how shiny or beat-up your guitar looks, but about the sound you make and the passion you put into it.
