I still dont understand why the Gorvernment dont allow ppl to have their UIF money when u resign.. I mean they have been deducting it.. why hold it and say u ve resigned..? our Gorvernment also is adding to the problem we are having.. give ppl their money..

Check who is your company using for your provident fund or pension fund (sanlam, Alexander Forbes, old mutual etc) you can call them every month and request your statement or download their app and you can monitor it everyday!!

Worked for an NGO like that, fortunately mine was transferred but other colleagues had to fight tooth and nail for their money, back and forth with brokers. It was a lot!

Well that’s why you need to monitor the money with your pension fund. If the pension fund holder doesn’t have a portal, then it’s a red flag.
