My son’s team did the same back in 2017. One of their teammates passed during basketball tryouts, and at every football game they brought his helmet out and placed it on the bench. RIH Xavier ❤

This is so wonderful and I know what it means to you. My son was killed at 19 and he had nine friends that were closer than brothers and every one of them wear his ashes around their neck. For one week every year just the boys would go to Saint Jane's Island in Maryland, it was my sons fav week of the year. The first year that he wasn't here and they took his ashes and across and his picture so that every year when they go back, he's there waiting for them. But this is such a beautiful display, and it shows that you raise a wonderful young man. 😇🙏❤
