yes I've watched one lady here on tiktok figure out sizing and 32 -28 =4 so, a=1 b=2 c=3 and d=4, so a d cup with 28 band size and see how that works

The cup sizes correlates with your ribcage/back size and D is smaller an C In under-bust measurements so when you got skinner your back fat went away and you “went down” a letter when your boobs might have gotten smaller because under-bust and over-bust are two different measurements and your bust size might have got smaller but the cup size is deceiving because it depends on how big your back is
