That should be illegal along with Lamarr Jackson faking like he's running out of bounds. Defenders have to pull up to avoid a penalty, so if a player acts as if he is going out of bounds or into a slide, then play should be over.

As a Pitt fan I remember watching the 2021 ACC championship and Pickett doing the fake slide and the refs didn’t know what to call….unfortunately that changed shortly afterwards. Go Pitt 👍🏼
