Do y’all need another deep freezer at home? Buy one at Costco, freeze and then just use it as a big box on the trailer back home 😆 but really, this is so eye opening! My grocery stores are 5 min away, I can’t image shopping for 7 months at a time.

Refreezing meat supposedly can affect the flavor but isn’t harmful unless you let it spoil before you refreeze it (by leaving it out too long). We do it too and it still tastes the same 😋

My parents used to put there small freezer in the back of there truck when they would go to the Upper Michigan hunting so when they got deer they would get it processed and put in the freezer and freeze it while they were there. Then unplug the freezer and come home it was a 9 hour trip and it would stay frozen. Could you put a freezer in your trailer and do the same kinda thing rather than using the coolers

Why not bring a food saver with you, cut and bag it, then freeze it. This way it’s already prepped and would maybe fit more in your coolers for the drive home?
