I hate it when my family asks if my partner helps around the house and helps with cooking, and they are either surprised or praise him, I am in a relationship with an adult, not with a five-year-old child, we share the responsibilities and it is his damn responsibility to do half of the things, just like when the children come, he won't "just help" but raise them with me.

I have 3 kids that were 3 3 and under. When I carried them into the store people be like you have room for one more on your back. When my husband brought them he got praised for being a good parent.

When me and my ex split up, I had to ask him to have our son for two nights a week because he only wanted to do the morning school run. He told me I was asking him to be a ‘glorified babysitter’ 🙃

Had an opportunity to go help after Katrina. Ex got snarky bc he’d have the kids by himself for a week (4&6). Forgiven when he called back ashamed. There are a few out there lol

women are so amazing and i hate that all my life i was told women are not even an average men. I wasted like 25 years of my life thinking i was not gonna be able to live without a man cause i have “no value” without a man. To all young girls reading that: you are amazing and dont let anybody else make you believe other wise. I love yall and yall are worth it!

My husband has always done for the kids, cooked, laundry whatever . He is praised by my family for this up and down. I mean I do the same stuff and more. Just because he is a man it’s some amazing accomplishment?
