Broooo. Simple green on the frame is probably a no. Just use diluted dish soap. Get a chain cleaner tool and use simple green with that. Also I would recommend using wet lube for someone who wants less maintenance

This is how I used to clean my chain before I switched to wax, get a cyclone chain scrubber and u can use degreaser (I used to use Zep citrus degreaser or Muc-Off) then clean the chain with isopropyl alcohol, completely dry and then apply lube (squirt chain lube). For the rest of the bike u can use a waterless wash, I used to use the one from Muc-Off. Hope this helps!! Switching to a waxed chain takes away the need to keep cleaning and it feels so much smoother.
