A lot of those jokes were in the WDW script for years! They combined our scripts for the refurbishment few years back, and both coasts got A TON of new jokes out of it.

Boy! He was awesome. Few weeks ago, our skipper tried hard but wore a mask. All you could hear was static and the teachers from the “Peanuts” ( mwum mum wah wah wah) it was the most disappointing ride we had.

We had the worst skipper on our last trip and it ruined the ride. Not funny and could barley hear him. He had no energy and I didn’t hear a single laugh

We had one and it got to the piranhas and he was waiting and nothing happened and he said “apparently they called in sick and no one thought to inform me” we also had a girl once after we got through the hippo/gun part. First off she didn’t have and caps in her gun so she just said “click, click” then she told everyone to be real quiet and we’d hear what baby hippos sound like. So we’re all quiet then she suddenly yells “Hey Ma!”

So true!! On Thursday I was on it during a delay and the Skipper kept everyone engaged & laughing during an additional 15 minutes! (Front side of rock 😂)

I also just went and our skipper was so good! She had this block cat eye sunglasses and reminded me a lot of April Ludgate from parks and rec, it was the fist time I actually laughed without forcing it on the jungle cruise

Years ago (like almost 20 years ago 😅) we had a skipper that acted like the Crocodile Hunter a few times, like he jumped up on the crates and went “crikey!” And “wooooowww, she’s a beauty”. He was INCREDIBLE.
