If it’s not able to be used I’d say it’s a major fault.a dickey wire feeder that intamittently stops would be a minor as you can still use it.

It’s just a faulty display, which is a minor fault, the thing didn’t burn to the ground so it will be repaired that is correct remedy for this situation.

Just a man with an ambition :
suppliers rules not Sydney Tools. they are told by the supplier all things must return to them for assessment before refunds are given. give the guys a break they dont make the rules.

sydney tools is really good with customer service bro.. they replaced a few things for us no questions.
The australian consumer law covers items not lasting s reasonable time.. just under a year is not a reasonable time so legally they would do the right thing but they are allowed to repair it

Your choice, you should be entitled to what ever you like, full refund or exchange/credit. It’s faulty no matter what. They have no comeback

If the problem is not serious and can be fixed within a reasonable time, the supplier can choose to repair the product or replace it with an identical or similar item.

May not be a major fault could just be faulty board. They have the right to repair under warranty. You will find they will only do an immediate refund if it’s a cheap item and not worth repair.

I’ve got the same one and it happened to me an internal fuse. They sent it away to get fixed. Took about seven weeks even though I needed it when it was getting fixed. I just copped it.

Why are you removing comments ?? Your not entitled to a refund it’s a minor fault! The warranty is with the supplier not the seller

They’re no good with communication either, I ordered some stuff from them recently, wasn’t in stock, said it’d be 3 days, I called after a week, they said it was in and I’d get a call when it was unloaded, 3 weeks later I called again and they said it’s here, we called you! No they didn’t! Then got attitude when I picked it up..
