@_summahrae: Although Rottnest is such a beautiful island, I know not many mob get to enjoy it the same way. I wish the true history of Wadjemup was shared more openly in schools, with visitors, and beyond. As an Aboriginal woman, I feel lucky to walk this land, knowing my ancestors never had that freedom. This place holds so much sorrow, but also strength, and it deserves to be remembered that way. 🤍
