Wow. That’s a lot. I would consider whether the clinical trial has a placebo group. If they do, I would go to surgery as they can’t guarantee if you would actually beginning the treatment. I did a clinical trial with a placebo group, which is why I asked.

We were in the same position. My parter chose the phase 1 trial instead of conventional treatment. Cancer progressed significantly. There is no right or wrong choice though. He would have always wonder what the other option would have looked like. Good luck x

IMHO if I was eligible for the surgery I would have that. In a trial you don’t know if you have the medicine or placebo. Sending hugs 🤗. But choose what you feel comfortable for yourself

🫶🫶 lots of love, this is such a hard decision. Wonder how going with the surgery (if they say yes) could reduce the tumours, and then going with the trial after? Rather than saying no to surgery and going for the trial, for the trial to maybe not work, then not being eligible for surgery later
