Doesn’t matter. DEI always lowers standards because it is statistically impossible to meet some quota (racial quota, religion quota etc.) and at the same time hire the best people that applied. Hiring should be based on meritocracy – if 1000 people applies for position and there are only 100 seats, top 100 gets hired, ni matter that other 900 could also be qualified. Point is that there is someone MORE qualified.

THE US SENATE IS DEI!! 2 reps from each state? Why do people in Wyoming and Idaho have the same representation as NY, CA, TX, FL???? But they won’t have that conversation…. (Btw if not clear I firmly stand with dei, bc like everyone should be!)

DEI gets people INSPIRED to go into a certain career by offering scholarships and giving people role models to aspire to. DEI does not give unqualified people careers based off of how marginalized they are.

because of the toxic culture in corporate America, anyone hired through DEI programs is literally EXCEPTIONAL. DEI ensure people who aren't traditionally looked at to be considered...but that doesn't mean they're not held to WAY higher standards than nepo hires and network hires.

Also, men nowadays dont really WANT to be 100% financially responsible for their entire household. Most homes are dual income where the woman contributes. When the man is the sole provider, women & children often live in poverty & get called free loaders.

DEI still requires qualifications, infact I prefer it this way, Id rather have as many highly qualified doctors that are diverse rather than a few qualified and most mid because they are all white men and they passed over the actual qualified ones because they arent the standard avatar
